My main intention with this project was to make a T-shirt print suitable to my graduation travel to PETAR (São Paulo, Brazil).
This is a representation of the blind catfish, firstly discovered at PETAR; I wanted to represent the rich wildlife present at the place. I also thought about bringing the sense of movement under the water, which motivated the use of perspective and movement elements. This hatch style have been chosen because it is easier to print.
I could only use 2 collors (white is not included), so I chose to use this tones of orange and blue by their excellent visibility on the widerness, being complementary colors and representing peacefullness (blue) and animation (orange). The white shadows also brings movement to it.
